Palo Santo is a go to tool for me as Sage and Cedar. Palo Santo has been used for ages not only for the healing properties of this "Holy Wood" by the Incas and/but used by people from Ecuador and Peru as mosquitoes repellent as well as using the essential oil of Palo Santo. Burning Palo Santo smells fantastic like a blend of citrus, pine, and mint.
Bursera graveolens, known in Spanish as palo santo, is a wild tree native from the Yucatán Peninsula to Peru and Venezuela. Bursera graveolens is found in the seasonally dry tropical forests of Mexico, Venezuela, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and on the Galápagos Islands.
These are LARGE sticks not like the small ones you get everywhere else.
They are Approximately 102mm long and 20mm thick. 4" long.
It's very easy to use simply hold over flame "FIRE Element" until smoking, then blow out the flame and watch the smoke rise!
Using your hand or a feather "WIND Element" you can direct the smoke to comb over your body or certain areas of the house or car. (your space)
Open windows and visualize the smoke taking away any negative energy. I even read there is NOW scientific research that shows bacteria in the air away being whisked away in the smoke.
Let the aroma fill the room and feel the air get light.
This is a great way to cleanse your Crystal's as well!
A Sea shell "WATER Element" is commonly used to either put out the Palo Santo "WOOD/EARTH Element" or just leave it sit there.
